I will be looking for 295/35 and 275/35 for mine probably next spring but in 19". I am not looking forward to that except for getting to use the line lock to enjoy the last of them :)

Here are 18x9 and 18x10. Fronts are 265/35/18 and rears are 285/40/18. I have run quad shocks but needed to flip them. 82F7F0F3-14D2-4D4D-84E6-CEC6A59A5A59.jpegF657BDB9-35C9-4B99-9115-C711F5700E30.jpeg

I feel you. My drag radials are useless now that the temps are dropping.
so go 19" x 10.5 then :) I went for a drive today and realized that I need better tires as its scooting all over the place in 2nd with half throttle.

the tires I have not still have good tread on them so I hate to take them off now but I think I am going to stop by a tire place and see what sales they have going on.

I have to say I'm not all that impressed with the 555G2 I have. Launching is a delicate dance with the gears.

After a little reasearch, being its a fair weather car I am looking at the toyo r888r. I think I will check out a local place today and see what they say. I see people ordering tires and then having a shop install them from time to time and I have to wonder if that is really cheaper?

My local shop charged me something like $100 to mount/balance tires and wheels that I brought in. It may have even been slightly more than that - I'm thinking like $125? I don't know that it was cheaper in the end - I didn't price the wheels and tires through them. They did a great job, and even labeled each one since they were directional. In all honesty, it probably would have worked out to about the same cost.

That's pretty high for simple mounting and balancing. My shop charges about $15 per wheel/tire........

I stopped in and checked out the 888s but as I suspected they are not something that goes on sale being special order and all. They said they would mount/balance any tire on my wheels for $30/wheel because they suspected they needed to be reverse mounted. I still have tread on the tires I have so it was really just about saving a few bucks if I could so what I have will work for now.

Over the last ten years or so, I've purchased all but one set of wheels and/or tires from a local Discount Tire shop. They will meet or beat most online pricing, so I see little reason to go elsewhere. I bought one wheel/tire set from Tire Rack because DT had neither the wheels nor tires I wanted for my Acura, and I could see them at the Denver warehouse before finalizing the purchase. DT has still offered to rotate and balance them at no charge.

after looking around I didn't see any major difference in price to justify ordering them and finding a place to put them on. I know that if you get it from them then if there is an issue they are there to help. When the time come I will be going to discount as well
