I got a starting problem, in the morning my car wont start lights, gauges and fuel pump kick on but no starter engagement, after the weather warms up it starts fine, maybe just a coincedence. battery and terminals were replaced yesterday, and the starter was checked out and found to be in great operating condition. This has happened 3 times so far, please help, and THANK YOU for any information, also sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

Two possibilities, starter solenoid or the ground going to it.

On my 96 the solenoid is on the starter itself (looks like a chevy starter). So when they checked that they should have checked the solenoid too correct?

well if you turn that key and nothing happens the solenoid isnt getting power, or its not grounded properly. i had a simular problem and i crawled under there and saw my ground was complete trash.

Ya, I was getting frustrated so, I walked away from the car and it hit me, the only thing I didnt jiggle, hit, or take off was the clutch pedal, so we bypassed it with 2 fuses and so far the car is 4 for 4 on starting.
