So what brand does everyone use for there stangs. BP is currently the bad guy around Chicago because of there recent bad gasoline.

Well today i brought gas from Citgo and received bad gasoline. This time i really did get bad gasoline.. it wasn't my plugs or wires this time

Barely made it home from work because it had no power and was missing terrible and running SUPER RICH.. exhaust smelled super sweet for some reason.

With that said im never buying Citgo again and what gas do you guys prefer:
Bad gas video i took today ===> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoNlmKR8iak&feature=youtu.be

my car has a stock cam but sounds like it has a h/c/i with the bad gas.....

My new edge only seemed to like Shell gas and some times she would run really well with Chevron. I never buy gas at walmart stations anymore. The one ehre when I put gas in my s2000 form it, the car bareley starts and struggles to find an idle.

Does anyone else find it funny that almost every gas station now has fuel with 10% ethanol added to keep the price of gas lower but yet it's still crazy high? It's like 3.49 a gallon here in New Mexico right now. But in the next town over I found a station with pretty good prices and absolutely 0% ethanol content. Look forward to trying it out!

Isn't Citgo own by the dictator from Venezuela??

true. Also Citgo goes by the name Petro. I avoid CITGO like the plague, I will not give any money to a communist dictator that hates the US but doesn't mind selling gas here.

I mainly use Racetrac gas in my cars.

I always use BP for both my vehicles but about two weeks ago I filled up with Mobil cuz of the whole thing with BP going on.....my car started running TERRIBLE......I have a E303 cam in it and it barely runs at idle.....it sounds very similar to how the OP's car does but with a cam obviously......I was gonna start out by doing some trouble shooting with MAF and throwing a scanner on it but now I'm wondering if I got some bad gas

telling us the price I think.

One GREAT little tidbit of advice about gas stations is if you go in and the tanker is there filling them up, head down the road to the next one. When they dump their fuel into the tank, no matter how hard it is filtered, there will be some build-up of small crap that settles to the bottom. When they fill it, they stir all that crap up till it all settles down and if you fill up while that happens, you will get that crap in your fuel.

BP has good fuel, but I don't support them after the gulf oil nonsense that happened. I stay away from Citgo and Valero because both of those cause my car to run like crap. I also stay away from "bargain" fuel stations like Wal-Mart, Kroger, and no name stations. Shell, Sunoco and Mobil are good, but unfortunately, my town doesn't have any of them. This leaves me with a choice of either Gas America, Speedway or Marathon. Of those three, I prefer Marathon. 93 octane of course with STP fuel additives... or so they say.
