So we finally gpt around to start the engine build, but immediately had those hopes deflated as the replacement pistons were busted during shipping... my mistake for not checking them when they delivered, but whatever...

Why the asshole i got these from thought it was ok to ship these without any padding from FL to CA is beyond meView attachment 20707

With that being said... does anyone have any factory 2v or 4v standard bore pistons laying around that they can part with?
Got a pic of the top of them? I have a set I believe

2v rebuild began sunday, the block had been sitting awhile so i spent a majority of the time cleaning the bitch up, but pistons and rods are ready to go in and then on to the rest of the long block

For those of you wondering about the head studs, the longer ones are 3v studs and the shorter ones are the 2v/4v studs. Since i only had half of the 2v ones off the old motor i went ahead and used the complete 3v set we had laying around the shop.

Just need to do mainly timing stuff and then we can drop the new 2v into the engine bay!
