steering wheel shaking?

my steering wheel starts to shake as i speed up from 50 to 60. it doesnt shake before 50 or after 60. any ideas?

When was the last time you had them balanced? Those lead weights they put on the rim don't seem to like to hang on very well. Last time I had my tires balanced I saw they were going to use the lead weights on the rim and I walked right through the door to the dude balancing them and asked what he was doing. He said putting weights on your tires. I told him he was going to use the stick on weights like what was on there already. Didn't want him messing up my 03 Cobra's.

Just thought of something else. Make sure you have the proper air pressure in your tires too.

yes get the balance and while you are there get the alingment done aswell

Balance more than likely as you can drive through the wobble, if it was an out of shape tyre, it would be there all the time.

balance & Rotation is like $20

i buy my tires from America's Discount Tire, and they offer Free Balance and Rotation as long as you own the tires.... that why i dont have Caster Camber plates because i get my stuff rotated like every 2 weeks :bunny3:
