When I push in the gas pedal, it feels like the gas pedal is sticking at first. It does this when I'm stopped and then go to give it gas but also when I'm driving at any RPM and go to step back on the gas after letting off. Once the gas pedal is pushed in, it feels normal, but when I first go to press it in after letting off, it feels like it is sticking at first. Is this normal with an aftermarket throttle body? I bought the car with the BBK throttle body on there so I don't have anything to compare it to but it definitely doesn't feel normal....

Nope, sounds like either your cable is sticking or the TB plate is getting stuck
Best way to troubleshoot, disconnect the cable from the TB, while having someone lightly hold the end of the cable move the gas pedal, if it still feels like it's sticking replace the cable, if it doesnt then take off the TB and go from there

clean the butterfly. theres a sealed bearing under the TPS sensor. Have a look to see if the bearing is ovaled or ticking. clean it and reapply a dab of silicone grease. reinstall tps. also, double check the tps voltage resistance.
