Stingers or Magnapacks Poll! sn95forums decides!

I have heard them both and love them. I am just buying the mufflers and going custom 3in so the cost is not that big of a difference. I would be happy with both since they sound similar and flow similar so I thought it would be fun to let sn95forum decide which ones I install, instead of drawing it out of a hat. I had a pair of bassani mufflers but the fitment was a little off on my car.

just a lil FYI, you should be fine with 2.5" exhaust til you go over 500 ish HP. just saying.

Sorry guys for the lack of info. I am running a little 306 with a newly upgraded d1sc and a meth kit which should put me over the 500rwhp pushing 13-14lbs of boost. I won't have the money for a 4 main until next January unless I find a deal on a used 4 bolt main that is already machined. (I'm always weary about those) Since I have to redo my exhaust anyways, I figured I do 3in now (instead of getting it done later) and get a conservative tune with everything in place.

But I am worried that it might be too loud with 3in exhaust and get the unwanted attention. I am running a procharger which whines and bypass valve the vents to the atmopshere already. I would put super turbos but we already have a car with them on and I'm not really a fan of them. I am actually considering a catted x pipe to tone it down a little or running a basasni tip with the baffle from time to time. But man, I have this gut feeling when it comes time to make the decision I am just going to say screw it and run it how it was meant to be. LT + O/R X + straight through resonators/muffler = how it was meant to be.

I wish I did own a pair of bassani's to find out. I'm ordering the stingers today and will prob have them installed next week!

is because of the center-center mufflers but, im sure you can contact Bassani directly and order a offset catback.

Dude here i nthe forum is a guy selling a Borla catback on his sig, let me see if i can find him.
