Stock cluster recalibrated?

I had it replaced today. I think it still works good, just needs to be retooled? Do I need to get that done? Or if I sell it, will the person that bought it do this? Thanks!!

I don't know what it's really called. That sounded good to me though. I think my gauges still work, just needs to be 'updated'. I saw on Mustangs Unlimited that you would send in your gauges. They would recalibrate & send them back to you. Something like that. I think they need this done, but I won't be buying new ones. I have no clue about any of this stuff.

From the description line:
Well we make the update easy with a rebuild & return service! First, you must send in your original instrument cluster. Then, we recalibrate & reassemble your cluster with white face gauges & green backlit numbers just like the 93 Cobra.

Yes, forgot all about that. That was when I was just looking @ GT ones.

That's all that they have for 94-95's. They have 1 for V6's.

Just make sure you or whoever is doing it set the needles at the same level such as fuel.

you dont need recalibration, with the cobra.

i didnt and my car is fine.

Anyway you can describe that maybe in another way? I'm not getting that 1st sentence @ all. Sorry, having not very clear thinking tonight, I guess. Maybe if I reread this tom, might make sense? I'll check back tom. Thanks!!

Also, I am keeping my Cobra's. I will be trying to sell my GT cluster's.

Just had mom go certain MPH's. My Cobra gauges is just about 5 MPH faster. I have no idea which way it really is. If it reads I'm going 70, I am really going 65. I can live with it I call it slower. Faster gets me in trouble with Johnny Law.
