Stock Shift Points

Can anybody tell me what the stock shift points are on a 4r70w automatic transmission? I have a 98 mustang GT and I need to set it back to stock. I have a dyno tune so im not comfortable with trying to reset the tune. Im afraid that I will reset everything. My tuner is the Diablo Predator handheld.

Stock shift points are probably around 5500

what all do you have in your car?

if you just have bolt ons and such, load the factory tune back up, and take the car out to see where it shifts. the shift from 1-2 will be the same for 2-3 and 3-4.

if you have boost or such, then call or go into your local Ford Dealer and they can look it up.

if you just have a dyno tune for your bolt ons and minor work, it wont hurt nothing, and you can load your custom tune right back up.

Dyno tunes for bolt ons usually just add / subtract a little fuel and ignition timing at WOT, and your trannies line pressures can be changed.
