So about 2 months ago my 94 cobra's stock water pump finally went on the way to work, I made it the short way to work and the temp gauge was high but the car didn't seem to be in any danger. It wasn't boiling over or anything, from there I towed it home got a new water pump and had it fixed within a day... Since then I had been noticing small pools of coolant on top of the water pump, one below the thermostat housing and one the right of that in the little valley to the right of distributor. Well noticed a small leak from the thermostat housing, fixed that thinking it would alleviate the problem, and it did to a point. The puddle below it was gone, but the one to right was still there. From there I inspected and noticed the lower intake gasket seemed to be wet on the valley, so I look my upper and lower intake gaskets off looked for possible cracks put on new intake gaskets and a nice thick bead of ultra grey rtv on the front and back intake valley along with water jackets. So that bring me to now, The puddle is still appearing after sitting for a couple days, I cannot pinpoint any spot where it it coming from, and seems to be a very slow leak.. The headgaskets were recently done, and I dont see and cracks in the heads(aluminum gt40x). Ive gone around tightening heater hoses, radiator hoses, etc... And cannot seem to find where it is coming from... at this point I thinking about getting a pressure tester to see if i can track down the leak like that, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.
