alright

the last couple of days the car has made a creak or poping noise whenever i take off from a stop, it also does it when i down shift into first, it almost sounds like its coming from the back seat area and i can feel something through the seat.
anyone one know what it could be?

i just did rear springs, control arms and subframe connectors,

after i did my LCA's i noticed on a hard take off my car would creak a little bit. After the bushings got settled it doesn't do it anymore. Did you tighten the LCA's at ride height or with them hanging?

u-joints maybe? or a loose bolt back there

Sounds like u joints... I had what sounds like the same problem...

put it in gear and get under it... grab the drive shaft and try and turn it ... I could tell immediately when i did this to mine...

So like everything else when it's broke it's time to upgrade! :) FRPP Aluminum Drive shaft comes with 2 brand new U joints!

alright, so the new driveshaft is in, it took like 30 minutes in my drive way so thats awesome. what not awesome is the noise is still there,
its a creak noise and kinda pops and i can feel it through the seat. it only happens or is noticed when going from a stop or from reverse to going forward, also i can make it happen just by bouncing the car...could this be my control arms binding, what could i do to fix it?
any help would be great

would the clutch bolts being loose also cause the pilot bearing to go?....You might be onto something if so lol

it definately sounds like its coming from the back of the car, plus i get no feed back through the shifter.i forgot to mention that we found a loose bolt on my lower control arm a few weeks back i tightend it back up while it was on the hoist, so i checked that again and its still tight so now im think that either

A. I tighted it to much and the control arm is binding
or
B. me tightening it while the suspension was hanging is causing my problem

well, we looked at the car last night and the rear lower control arm bolt on the right side was a little loose, probably because they were in real rough shape but i didnt have new one's to replace them with when i did my control arms we just cleaned them up as best we could. the new ones should be in tommorow and i will try to replace them asap, hopefully this takes car off it.
thanks for the help and i will keep you informed
