Strange Ticking

I'll get a vid up tomorrow I tried searching YouTube but can't tell if it's the same sound or not since there's usually a big defference between hearing in person and hearing on camera lol.

just an FYI I figured out that mine was as simple as a loose spark plug wire. The clicking I heard was the arching. Super simple fix(as long as the motors cold) so worth checking out.

Great call on that one. I'm not sure that's the problem but it doesn't hurt to check them since they are right there. But I dont think that it's the problem since the COP's are held on with a bolt. Still worth checking out!

yea it would be nice if it were that easy for all of us but certainly worth a look just to start simple.

pull the COPs and make sure your spark plugs arent backing out! DOH! I hate it when that happens

Hmm didn't think to check the plugs themselves lol. But listen to the vid Chris I'm really beginning to think it's an exhaust leak which sucks because I don't want to do headers this winter haha

Sounds like an exhaust leak buddy, be glad that's all it is and not a beginning of a motor rebuild

Daaaaamn lol I mean I'm glad it's not my motor blowing up on me, which I kind of figured it wasn't. But being on the driver side, I know that side is bolted up tight because it was easy. The passenger side gave me a bit of trouble and with the gasket and the bend and all that crap I wasn't sure it was tight lol... Which all that mumbling together means that it's gotta be coming from the manifold haha. Damn.. Guess I better add headers to the build list!
