So i got one stripped lug nut on my car,it just spins. I tried googling how to get it off, and everyone thats had the problem has had the stud spinning too. But mine the stud is not spinning, just the nut. How can i get this off? Should I just take it to a tire shop and see if they can Impact it off?

if you're sure its not a spinning stud, id try and fit a flat head screw driver + open end wrench in the socket hole.

apply pressure "pulling" the lug nut out with the screwjy.
turn lug nut with wrenchy.

my idea is simply to try and force the lug to catch the next available thread....

if you cant do my idea... id just take it in to a tire shop. the one by my house replaced mine for $17.00. . .. .. lol.

Take a metal hole saw that's just the diameter of the wheel stud and carefully drill straight through the middle of the lug.
Becareful not to drill into the wheel. Afterward you'll have to replace the stud too.
