Speaking from experience, I like the TFS twisted wedge R 225 heads for the kind of airflow you are talking about, you can also look at the step down from this, the non CNC version is a smaller port volume. Really the intake isn't the restriction in high hp blown applications, it's the exhaust. This is because you are forcing the air in anyway, so even a poorly designed head, like a stocker, will still produce decent power in low boost situations. In high boost, the exhaust becomes a restriction because for example, if the intake and exhaust valves were both opened for the same amount of time, and the same lift(this is why dual pattern cams are superior), the pressurized intake side can move in more volume than the exhaust which is not pressurized can move in the same timeframe, this is even more evident in a turbo application. Also the AFR 225 is a decent head. The minimum you should look at is the 205 of Trick Flow or the AFR. There are also cheap chinese rip offs of Vic Jr. heads out there too. there are a lot of possibilities, but these are two of the more popular ones.

If your gonna do a blown 428 I assume this is going to be a race car or a weekend car?? I would look into a few different heads.

Edelbrock Billy Glidden Heads

Brodix (I wanna say M1???) heads

AFR 225

TFS R Series heads.

Well, for the intake it depends on what you are wanting, but since you are planning a big blower, then I would go with Edelbrock's super victor carb style EFI intake they are selling. They sell the intake, and rails, the elbow you can buy from Probe. You are going to have a ton of torque, so no need for a long runner unless your car is going to be super heavy, then I would say go with what my vert has and use the TFS R box setup. No way this thing could ever require a long runner intake. jmho.

Go to summit.com and search edelbrock, and click on efi intakes. Then look through and you will find an intake that looks like a carbed one, but has injector bungs made into it.

ok i think i found the right now, looks like a carb design but has injector bungs, now you said that would allow massive amounts of torque?

No it won't allow tons od torque. With a 408/418/428 etc...there is no need for extra torque.

I would recommend the exact same intake as well.
