i got a quick question...so last night i threw on my new accufab tb and plenum just so i can drive it to my buddies house to get ready to do my pi swap and when i went to put on my cai A) the coupler doesnt fit and B) it hits the strut bar. i do have a mac strut bar on it now has anyone else run into this problem?

I have considered this addition. I also have a CAI that fits very close to the strut tower brace. I have about a 1/4" clearance. I kinda figured there would be a clearance issue there as all the aftermarket upper plenum designs seem to sit higher. I have no good remedy for this. Maybe a flexible coupler of some kind?

So yes, I had this issue with my steeda strut bar, which has even more room than a Ford bar. It actually rubbed on the LHS or on the inner fender depending on the position of the CAI tube. The Steeda brace has a kink that allows extra room for the tube, but still had the other issues.

I corrected by adding a pep boys special, rubber coupler. It still was a struggle to put on and probably should have just left the stock intake tube as it didn't look that bad and prob. doesn't add much in the way of power. So with the ricer coupler it doesn't rub on the inner fenderwell or the strut bar. See below for some pics....
