Does anyone if an edelbrock RPM 5.0 intake will fit under the stock brace? The intake does not have a spacer. Does anyone know of a company that sells a brace with more clearance? I wouldn't mind not having a brace but my gt is a vert and already has lots of body flex. Anyone know if they make a lighter underside brace for the vert?

The lower K-member brace? Some companies (like Steeda) also call it a G-Load brace.

I saw that it says 96-04 HT. Is HT for Hard Top? Mine's a 95' vert

Edelbrock makes a brace that clears Edelbrock intakes. I've got one with my Performer RPM II intake.

No it will not. I have a BBK strut tower brace, looks awesome and is decent quality. I also believe MAC sells one but I'm not sure. Steeda also sells them (or used to) but they're way overpriced most of the time. As far as lightened under bracing, Steeda is about your best option, try to buy in a kit though, like I said, they are expensive.

I think it's the other way around. Edelbrock designed the intake and the strut brace. Edelbrock stuff is all made in the USA.

I had that MM brace on my car 5 years ago before the Performer RPM II was out.

Edelbrock created that brace for the original Performer manifold, in the '94/'95 timeframe.

Next you'll tell us that Edelbrock copied Patriot's intake manifold design....
