Strut tower brace

I have a 1994 mustang gt with a performer rpm II intake with a 1 inch spacer. I am looking for a strut tower brace that will clear the intake I have a bbk one that doesn't come close to clearing the drivers side of the intake. Any help will be appreciated thank you.

that is interesting as I have been looking for a brace that would fit around my cobra intake that is raised up because of the heads I run. I have a steeda that doesn't fit either on the drivers side and another one that I think is made to go around a big block as its huge and the hood will not close. I have been wanting to try the BBK too see if it fits but have not had one in hand yet to try. Trade ya a one of mine for your BBK. Worst case scenario it still don't fit.........

ya i had to run a 1 inch spacer to clear my tall valve covers, I am going to return the bbk one i have to summit racing and put it towards a set of long tubes

I had one that cleared everything but I sold it awhile ago. I dont even use one.

yea I got one that would have to fit around a big block, just will not fit under the stock hood....

Kenny Brown used to make one for the Mach 1's that might work...my son has one (not installed) I could check but he is in Calif so it will be a while. Call Kenny Brown & ask.

my bbk fits over my vortech and 1" spaced RPM 1 intake.

remove it completely. my son's 98gt didn't come with one.
OR. Heat it up with a torch and make it clear. You could probably take it to a muffler shop or machine shop and do it in the parking lot. Just bring the tools to remove it. then heat it and beat it. Or cut out where it contacts the TB and weld in a custom "dog leg" for clearance.
Don't forget to allow for the twist of the engine

how bad is it hitting and where? Can you clearance the TB or the brace a little with some trimming? Otherwise like I said above I am sure the big one I have will fit around it, just need a cowl hood.....
