So today my abs light trips I'm assuming possibly because of huge wheels... Well no big deal I clear the code hasn't came back on, great right ? Well I go for a drive to see the gf and take her for lunch at work.. Blah blah we go to Boston pizza eat. Then grabbed a few things so I hit the remote start on truck it fires up like usual, then say bye to the girl. I jump in put the key in and go to put it in gear as I hit the brake it cut out. This normally happens when you don't insert the key...
So now I try and turn it over with the key complete nothing. So I start it with the remote start again put the key back in and it drove this time instantly making the check engine light come on. Now my wipers were not working awesome because its pissing out. Truck was low on power and it's a 6.0L with a trinity tuner dual exhaust cold air. So I'm like **** get it back to the shop about 15 mins later it died. Nothing with the key only remote start so then this clearly means in my head ignition switch. So not having tools with me I had To trace the brake pedal kill switch wire. So I could get it running insert the key to unlock steering and be able to get it in gear and go. Doing this I knew I only had 15 mins before it would die because that's the preset on the auto start.
So I get to the shop start pulling off the pannel under the column to see that the plug had came out... Plugged it back in and bam it fired right up... This is apparently common , fords have a bolt so much better
