You should be at or above your goal. As far as an intercooler, itll make more power but youll be on borrowed time with a stock shortblock. With a great tune and a meth on it, it should last quite some time. Just dont over-rev it and itll last.

With a 3.25" pulley won't he be around 10lbs of boost? iirc that 310lph svt pump is rated to about 400whp and then its maxxed out....

What kind of pump do u recommend that will be able to handle the power better?

swap to the SVT cobra tank. runs dual pumps...

Ive got a vortech going in with my new block, it's going to be delivered fuel by twin 310lph SVT focus pumps in the cobra tank I picked up, aeromotive fuel rails, and 60lb injectors. I'm leaving no stone left unturned as I'm seeking 600-700whp.

I have a Paxton Intercooler setup for my vortech, I'm looking for upwards of 15-20lbs of boost on a road course car. I got a beefy radiator and the Intercooler will be more than enough to sustain efficiency.

Id run both the intercooler nad meth, cheap insurance. As far as the pulley, 10 lbs with an intercoolr will make close to his goal. I missed the fuel pump in the original post, but I wouldnt use a focus pump at all. I'd run a 255 in tank with a boost a pump if need be.

255 pump won't fit or work in the 99+ bucket without modification.

Can i just get the cobra dual pumps and just swap them in the GT tank? How much does the cobra tank and pumps usually cost?

no, the basket is different in the cobra tank. as well it having baffles so you don't starve the car of fuel.

Cobra tank I generally see run for around $400 + cost of pumps which I've seen them go for $100+. It's expensive but cheap insurance. I guess you COULD run a 310LPH pump with a BAP but I'm not going to recommend it...

If your gonna run that much power, you will need the fmic....also, dont focus so much on that number...

You will be better off setting your car up with suspension and lightening it up a bit vs trying to make every hp your shortblock can handle.

My car doesnt even make 400 to the wheels through a stalled auto and Ive beat a 470 rwhp 04 cobra by a few cars from a 60 roll to about 100....from a slower roll I beat him worse.

In the next week iam adding a tubular k-member kit/ coil over set up so that should lighten up my car a decent amount.. what do u have done far as suspension?
