Supercharger for Pickup!

k so a buddy of mine has an '06 silverado heartland edition...he wants to put a s/c in it n he asked me if i had any reccomendations...i dont know a whole lot about them so i wondered if you guys would know anything that would help me help him out...the only mods he has on it are magnaflow exhaust, transmission cooler system, and a k&n intake system with the 5.3 in it...any suggestions, comments...anything that would help is appreciated!

first you might want to find out how much hp and torque the stock motor is good for, so you know what hp range you can put to it.

Probably want to decide whether you want positive displacemnt or centrifugal style s/c as well. You can go to s/c websites like http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com to get all kinds of info and pricing.
