So , looking on Craig's list (witch I do way to much of) I came across a b11a powderdyne super charger. Guy just had it listed as a supercharge , no brand , numbers , nothing except it fits a mustang. Ok... I'll bite... He was asking $850 for it , once I found out what it is I quickly and politely told him this isnt for me unless it cheep. Expecting to be told off I get his reply to make him a offer. Told him for what it is , I wouldn't be comfortable for anything over $500. "Ok , bring cash".... Again , not what I expected to hear.

Im making @360 now , I'd like to sit at 500hp. Running 10 lbs of boost , can this thing get the job done? What do you guys think? I know the b11 was a steaming pile but the 11a is susposto be worlds better. It's on a street car , not full track. Really kind of torn. Worst case , I get it , run it a year and it spreads a belt. I can rebuild the whole thing faster than I can drink a 6 pack for 400 bucks top to bottom. Price is right , just if it can step up to the plate and deliver what I want...

I'm around 460 with a v1 supercharger on 10lbs of boost but my tune is driver friendly I'm scared to go anymore cuz a stock 5.0 is just good to 500hp I ain't never heard of a powerdyne putting out big#s but that don't mean nothing. U will need bigger injectors and maf

It also helps the sleeper approach I'm going for. Damn things are quiet... I'm about to add some dynomax bullits infront of my flow masters with electric cut outs. Should almost sound stock lol

Ehh , at that price even with a bad impeller I think I'd still be ok. $500 to do everything inside of it , basic rebuild is only $100 and takes a hour...

Personally I'd steering clear of powerdyne superchargers. There's a reason vortech and others are the most purchased. I'd say wait till you can get a quality kit.
