I have been looking around and it seems like the most boost you can push out of a vortex or procharger is between 8-12psi. is there any way to get more psi out of them to get more power? If i spend a few grand i wana be able to push 15-18psi. As of right now it looks like my options are either a Kenne-Bell or a turbo set up. The Kenne-Bell's can give you gains of over 260hp if im not mistake...im pretty sure thats what i read on the site... and with a turbo set up i can get up to 720 to the wheels. I know i will not see those numbers with a vortex, but i wana be in the 500-600hp range. What are my options?

An S-trim will go to about 18 psi before it flips out. A P1sc is good to at least 15, a Novi 2200 is good for more than 20, and all of them are more than you want to squeeze into that motor in your sig.

Better get a built block with forged internals or your engine will
be living on barrowed time.
Procharger D1SC will be something to look into.

like he said here...

theres a reason nobody runs more than 8-12 psi...our engines cant handle it and will blow with stock internals

I know I am new to the site, but I do have some knowledge on these cars. I wont put any boost on my motor till I get it rebuilt. That is the first thing I am doing when I get back to the states. But i wana be upwards of 5-600HP and I dont like spraying. I love the look of sn95's with a big intercooler in the front. well I want something to utilize the potential of a big ass 3core intercooler.

I no longer have the car, but it was a Livernois Stroker kit, 10.3: C/R, Foxlake stage II heads, Manley springs, Custom blower cams, and a Novi 2200, with Stainless works longtubes.

Every persons vehicle reacts different to boost just be safe with your boost levels.
Personaly the most I would run would be 8-9 psi. on a stock 4.6L engine.
Your tune plays a major role on how long your engine will last.
You got to think you are putting twice the stress on your engine running a supercharger
than if you were N/A.
