Hey all,

Im new but i always browse this forum for awnsers. I normally hangout on moddedmustangs.com but you guys have better sn95 specific info.

My question is what is the stock size pulley on the SVO Supercharger for a 97 mustang GT. I have it coming in this week but i want to order a pulley before it comes in.

Also if i want to run 10-12psi out of it what would be the correctly sized pulley for that application? What kind of numbers can i expect from an auto full NPI car?

Also were can i find pulleys for these things?

Thanks!

not sure on the stock pulley size or where to buy them, but i can tell you at 10-12psi you'll be pumping hot air, i'd stay at 9 and under on a non intercooled roots blower.

as for power, with a GREAT tune at 8psi you'd get 280-300whp through the auto.

that would help, but i would keep the pulley stock until the meth is ready, unless you really trust your tuner.

i'm almost certain the SVO blower is only efficient up to 9psi then becomes a hair dryer.

in my opinion a near perfect tune will get you more power than 1-2psi on a bad tune.

Well shes getting dynotuned at a local shop. Which they did my last tune and i was very satisfied.

Id be happy with 9-10 psi. But i need to know what pulley size that is. Im trying to order it ahead of time.

Also can i use termi pulleys? Like both have the M112, but the termis run an 8rib as apposed to a 6rib. Can just let the other 2 be empty?

Also were do you guys find your pulleys for these? The ones I found im not sure if they'll work or not.

Thanks PP_Puncher, I like the color of your car...mines the same color.

not worth it, stay away from the SVO charger... this is me being dead honest one guy on here was selling one and just ended up getting rid of it because it will never see the power that you'll want to see. stick with a vortech, procharger, powerdyne anything BUT the svo charger. Plus at the power that you'd make with a SVO charger doing a meth kit is almost pointless you wont be seeing enough. I'm trying to save you here man, but honestly stay away from the SVO charger.. it might seem like a good idea right now but in the end it will be more of a hassle than it's worth.

and as far as the meth goes, the only reason people do meth injection is to lower the temp and allow more timing to be pulled with less chance of detonation. if you were making more power then i'd say it's a great idea but at the point you are at, go with a different blower and then look at meth later on. You will be lucky to see 300 hp maxing that blower out i'm not sure what your end goals are but i'm trying to save you from a long road of frustrations and disappointment.. just think about it man.

Im not really looking for "big boost" I just want 10psi. My goal for my car is fairly low.

Somewere in the 300-350 range when its all said and done. Im not looking for mad power.
I accualy just sold off my powerdyne unit not to long ago. With 6psi and a PI intake with some bolt ons i only put down about 260rwhp.

My goal from the start was 300rwhp and if i make that il be pleased.

Those are some of the reason i want to go meth injection. Its a daily driver so im making sure she stays safe.

All im looking for is about 9-10psi and call it a day.

I just want to find the pulley though so i can have everything ready. I love the sound of the m112's so Im doing this setup partially for that.

I mean from what you all have seen. Is 300-350rwhp reasonable with 9-10psi and meth?

through an auto it would take a generous dyno to give you 300whp even at 10psi. the meth on a roots blower doesnt do nearly as much as a centri. the roots blowers compress the charge too close to the chambers for the meth to have a good cooling effect.

if you've already ordered the blower just throw it on with the stock pulley and go from there. dont be upset when you see 240-250whp though, upping boost and adding meth lucky to see 300whp is my guess.

Well im not just gonna run with the stock pulley. I want to run 10psi, my flowerdyne didnt really give me the performance i wanted.

300rwhp and I'll be happy.

I mean iv talked to a few people who accualy owned them and theyve pushed out great numbers (great for my goals atleast) so Im hoping to do the same.

I really just need help finding the pulley lol. Who should i talk to about these kits, does anyone on here own one?

EDIT: Quick side question. Whats the "issue" with this kit. I mean I know the m112 makes alot of heat, but i cant imagine it being THAT bad. Also seeing as its a m112 and on cobras you can replace there M112's for whipples, can I do the same?

ASP sells the pulley/s you need i'm pretty sure you need a 3.33 for 9psi and a 3.00 for 11-12.....

good luck......

you have to call and tell them what you are looking for, not listed on the site.

you need to get up with droptoptony, he has the same blower and i am pretty sure he is running the ASP pulleys. i only know about this because before i decided on the vortech i almost bought the SVO blower until i did the research.

I think the svo blowers are m90's and even smaller and less efficient than the m112's on the cobras and lightnings.
Check out this place, they make lots of blower pulleys, I'm sure they can tell you what you need for that blower and probably get you one aswell.
