oh, very nice!

Thats the rare and hard to find SVO blower... it was sold by ford racing for a short period of time. Its for NPI headed 2v 4.6s...
they are very hard to find, especially a complete kit.

(you can barely see the blower's snout in the engine picture, just under the alternator.)

not technically a "SVT" product. .. perhaps they did the R&D on it, but it was sold as a "SVO" product.

I think the numbers are pretty fudged though. Theres no way that blower is making 20 lbs and theres no way that the 11:1 compression would hold it without e85 or race gas.

the owner has no idea what he/she is talking about.

cool car, nonetheless.

I assure you it has a 8.8 -- i assure you its not 11:1 -- i assure you its not running 20 pounds.

i'd still buy it.

No way does it have 20 lbs of boost. Regarding the oil. He may actually put 10 quarts in it. Many people with a stock 4.6 (including myself) put 7 quarts in it. So if it's running a larger pan it could easily see 9 quarts.
But... I bet that car is a heat box building turd....It's pretty though.

I'm personally weary of anyone with a giant tach. They are 99% likely to have beaten the living crap out of it and selling it because of an unforeseen problem.

I know there was another thread about this car, but since this is more tech savy figured I'd post more info.

SVO used a Roush developed blower set up based of the good old Eaton M112 - just several years prior to the Terminator using that idea.
The blower was designed to use the stock inlet tubing/MAF/filter and stock TB. The air is compressed and blown upwards into the spyder of the plenum which arcs over and down the the heads. It can be used with PI heads with a little know how. Roush/SVO (via Ford) sold a top end kit that included the Roush/SVO heads as well. At 6 psi, the combo was good for a touch over 300 rwhp with a very conservative tune. A 9 psi pulley was around thanks to the aftermarket which stepped up the power.

Other than the blower snout poking out, the relocated alt is another give away that something isn't stock.
