Swapping a complete vert top?

Can anybody comment on how much easier (or harder) of a job it would be to swap an entire vert top including frame and hydraulics as opposed to simply replacing the vinyl/canvas? Got a line on a complete setup but not sure if its worth the extra money.

You can do it in a garage as long as you have simple hand tools. But swapping the actual canvas is not....

been there done that! not hard at all. I managed to get mine finished in 2 days by myself. only time you need more then one person is to move the fame into place. also i had never ever messed with a vert top before that.

Great, very encouraging! Hoping to have the new top in my possession today and then its just a matter of when I got time with cooperating weather.
