Swapping emblems? Looking for blacked out ones

Have a couple quick questions about emblems. First, behind the fender emblems and decklid emblem, are there any body holes? Or are they double side tape only? Second, if there is a hole behind the fender emblems, do the v6 running pony emblem and v8 GT emblem have the same fender mounting holes?

I'm kind of interested in getting a black pony for the grille, but would also like to get some black running pony emblems for the sides (I like those better than the "GT" badges. Does anyone sell them like that? Or do you have to paint your own? I'd like a pair that arent solid black, but that are black tinted, kind of like how they do the lenses, to where you can still see some of the color underneath of it. It would also be cool to find something different to put in place of the blue oval on the trunk lid too...

Just looking for ideas

I'm pretty sure they all have holes. The ones in the fenders do for sure, and I'm 90% positive the rear trunklid does too. The V6 badges should fit in the same hole with no problem.

The fenders have one 1/2" hole, and a smaller 1/8" hole to the right of it.. The trunk has two small 1/8" holes side by side..
Just about any emblem would cover the fender holes.. As far as finding a "smoked" pony emblem, I'm not aware of any place that does,
you may just have to buy emblems and use Nightshades to tint them yourself. I personally have the 00-03 GT fender emblems on my 95.

on the rear emblem i have a overlay over the ford emblem..

On the sides i got these 5.0 emblems..

I have blacked out my pony (very dark metallic grey to be exact) and added a running pony blk/chrome overlay on the rear but left the OEM sides alone

Dont see any reason why you cant change 1-2 emblems without touching others, not like anyone can see them all at once
