OK, so i am looking to put a system in my 1995 mustang gt. I have heard anything from the best set up being 3 10" subs to a single competition sub mounted upside down in the spare tire well. Any advise on this??

This needs to be located in the Electronics section. If it were me i would do a Single 12" or dual 6.5" or Dual 8" subs. All in a sealed box. I like the Tight bass.

asking a question with out giving us some info on yourself and what you want is like asking us where there is good pizza. What I like and recomend my not have anything to do with your tastes and what you need.

What kind of music do you listen to? Are you going to have it cranked %90 of the time or have you grown out of that stage? Are you wanting a sound quality system(SQ) or are you going to make it as loud as you can(SPL)? I have a single 10" in my truck and 4 -8's in my stang. I am happy with both although they were more about what I needed, now what I wanted.

I agree with Scott. It all depends on your listening preferences. When I was younger It was all about SPL. But now that Im out of that stage I prefer sound quality. I personally have a 10" in my stang and I love the way it sounds.
