i have a b&m pro ripper shifter and i want to get a t-handle for it, do t handles work on manuel shifters or are they more for autos?

T-handles are for manuals. My dad had one and my friend has one.

My friend with the '03 Cobra has a T on his car & loves it! He had I think it's called a pistol grip on it. The T goes up & down, not side by side. Hated that one! The T looks awesome to me! I've got just the cosmetic T handle on mine.

hows the pro ripper working for you?

i love it, took a couple tries to get the stops in place but after that works great, it clicks into gear really short shifts, not sloppy i recommend it, although i've never tried any other short throws

t handles are supposed to be for extream power shifting... to reduce the amount of effort you put into moving your hand on the shifter...

your supposed to just be able to pivit your wrist to agressivally shift...pivit it back when pulling back to go into 2nd, then pivit it forward when shifting into third...

I pulled the t handle off a b&m auto shifter, and put it on the b&m sport shifter in my GT... I like it, the handle in the above post is the redesign of what I have. Supposed to be really comfortable
