Okay, see if it holds up...
Something I run into a lot is that people are concerned that the races can spin, but they are designed to. I've never seen Loctite used, but many have "staked" the aluminum adjacent to the bore to make it bind. Unfortunately, this makes it nearly impossible to get the race back out next time the transmission needs a rebuild.
