t5 question

Well i am going to swap my aode to a t5.I found this guy in town selling a t5 tranny from a 94 cobra with 60,000 miles with a steeda clutch and triax short throw for 300.Does it sound like a good deal.

Has anyone on here did the aode to t5 swap?

I sold mine on corral for $325 with nothing but the tranny and 78K miles, plus it cost him $60 for shipping. Sounds like a dam good deal to me. :boink:

sounds like a really good deal, make sure u check his feedback or make sure he has lotsa posts, there are quite a few scammers out there sad to say.

You also need the pedal setup, that costs a bit.

I had the swap done last year to my 94. I found a salvage guy in Vancouver that had a wrecked 95 GT and I bought pretty much the whole change over from him for $700 shipped to me in Norhtern BC. I bought a new clutch because whats the point in putting an old one in. At $300 for those parts, your laughing! Just the tranny for $300 is a good deal. But if you don't know or trust the guy, maybe get it checked out first.
