I have had a monster tach with shift light for about 8 years. It has been in 3 different cars. My question in do you think I should put it in my Mustang? I origanally got it for when I get a Mustang and know that I got one I'm have second thoughts. The car is bone stock (for now). I guess I could have just said I'm looking for opinions :hammer:

I think monster tachs are like having a hood scoop. If your going to flash or represent like you got some muscle, then you should be able to back it up......stock?........no.

That is exactly why I'm having second thoughts :thumb:

IMHO unless you are tearing down the track with the car, bracket racing for some big purse event.... a monster tach is useless... and ultimately gets in the way.

Thats pretty much the way I feel (I don't have the HP to back it up right now)

i think tachs, cowl hoods, 3:73 plus ratio, and cobra front bumpers should be a factory option from ford....because they all look bad ass to me no matter its it a stock car or a 10 pump gas stroker car....go for it...factory tachs are off a little anyways and the shift light is pretty cool at night when your out messin around... just my $.02
