Tailights

I got a mustang calender and I was looking threw it and there was a SN-95 in it. I noticed on the fender it said GT 4.6 so I new it was a 96-98. Then I noticed that the taillights had 3 horizontal bars instead of 3 vertical bars. I thought 94-95 only had the 3 horizontal bars and 96-98 had the 3 vertical bars. The description of the car said 96 GT. Have the taillights in this car been changed or did some early 96's have the 3 horizontal bar taillights?

tail lighs were changed. Some of use prefer the horizontal lights.
