i bottomed out on a stupid speed bump and made a huge hole in both cats. i don't want to buy new ones so i;m thinking of just running straights from the header. will the check engine light come on if i take them off?

Im runnin a o/r xpipe and i have never had a problem with my check engine light. And all the o2s are in there holes. well i had a problem one time when i got caught in 3 hours worth of traffic and the car was just idling and creeping. but other than that time never had a problem.

You should have a po420 code pop up when you delete the cats, if you have a hand held tuner you can turn the rear o2's off and that will eliminate the MIL. Or you can buy/make MIL eliminators.

Mr. PP-Puncher,

Your car is so cool. Gotta love the purple paint with the big tires & rims!
