I was looking through my local craigslist today and ran across this: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/pts/1721743251.html I know I could do more things to my car with the cash and I just bought a 1994 ranger project With bad rings last month. If I added the fox I would have 3 cars making that a total of 7 cars at home. I'm am by no means wealthy, all our cars are junk but we're attached to them. I don't want to get rid of the truck and there's no way I'm getting rid of my 95. I'm stuck right smack in the middle. I have a spare 1992 5.0 block chillin in the backyard that I could just drop in. But I'm already picturing this thing with a nice drop and saleen or cobra wheels. Help me out, I need to either be completely convinced to buy it or the other way around. I already looked at it in person and it's clean inside and out.

For 1000, if its an original v8 car, its worth buying and fixing to resell if all it needs if a $50 shortblock that'll take 20 minutes to find.

If you've got the parts to fix it, you should go ahead and fix and just turn around and reselll it

Why does everyone like the coupes? I wouldn't be caught dead in ANYTHING but a GT Foxbody or a SVO. Blech! Just plain ugly little boxy cars IMO. I'd rather have my fat a*s, slow SN95 any day.

So yeah, my vote is NO. But I don't like Foxes.

LOL, my girl said it's too boxy and it looks like a hexagon. Since I wanted to keep it for myself, I made the decision to not go for it. I'm just going to put my cash and time into the stang and the ranger. I'm going to post some pics of the ranger as soon as I'm flying over the Glamis Sand dunes. Thanks everyone for the help. I'll
leave you with a pic if my vision

Well, I like "Jellybean", "Bubble" style cars, like MKIV Supra's (which have the most perfect shape of any car IMO) I can't deal with the 80's boxy style, because I want something that is fast AND looks amazing.

I think you made the right choice though. My Dad currently has 4 projects going and he has already lost interest in 2 of them (he gets bored with things really quick) and already has a few more he wants! I say focus on what you have. It'll be better for your wallet and sanity (all of which he has lost grasp of, haha!)

If that was local, I would ask your permission to go for it and get it as a project car for my son - He's 15 and has been asking for a Fox for a few years now and doesn't want my 90 Civic Si (176k miles but bought new). Wish something would like this would come up here:(. I think your making the right choice on passing.

The guy sent me an email telling me he sold it this morning. Oh well, this way it doesn't drive me crazy thinking about it
