The stock tensioner pulley on my 98 v6 mustang is getting pretty worn and has been making some noise. I went to Autozone and ordered a new one and when i tried to swap it out with the old hardware it didnt work. The original washer off the stock one tightened it down too much for it even spin. I made sure autozone ordered the correct pulley as well and they said it should do the trick. Anyone have any suggestions on where else to go? Or where can i find an appropriate washer to fit?
