I was wondering who all is running it? I am just putting it on a 306 with s-trim for a street car only.. I am wondering if it will be easier and more cost effective to part a H/C/I together or just buy the 360hp kit for 2500.. Aynone have any dyno numbers? Comes with everything correct?

The TFS kit is the best bang for the buck, hands down.

Go with that.

Most people are seeing around 300 RWHP with the kit.

Yea my big F1R motor has TF heads and really dont like driving it on the street anymore so thats why im looking to upgrade the 160k mile engine and put in a fresh 306 with just a lil s-trim

The only things I adde were a Comp timing chain and Crane Energizer lifters. figured since I was building a new engine, might as well go with all new parts.... and I added the Comp Cams timing chain cuz I didnt wanna machine the parts for the TFS timing chain.

As far as block prep, I ran the block thru the hot tank, align honed everything, stress relived the crank/rods, balanced everything to .01 oz, put oversize bearings in the bottom end and added Total Seal gapless piston rings. The bottom end is from an 88GT so I would have forged pistons. the car revs real nice, and pulls hard, even at part throttle.
