Thought I might aswell keep track of things I'm doing since I got a new car.

I bought the car almost stock. Said for eibach springs and tokico struts, and a B&M shifter and C&L intake.

Here's how I got it:

Started with some fresh headlights because the original ones lit the wrong side of the road:

stock wheels were swapped for the new saleens I had laying around with 285 in the back, 265 in the front:

Got some vertical tails and a white gascap from germany, that needed some cleaning and polishing because there was more plantlife growing in them than I have in my backyard. So the horizontal exports were swapped for verticals and the locking gascap was swapped for a clean one:

After that, I did a small tune up for peace of mind. Car came with fresh leads and plugs.
- new coils
- new belt
- new fuelfilter
- fresh oil and filter
- Redline D4 ATF in the transmission
- topped all the rest of the fluids
- fresh u-joints

Cleaned the entire enginebay from dust and oil.

- cobrabob shifter gasket
- magnaflow catted X

LMAO!!!

Car looks great dutch!!! You're definitely bringing it back to showcar status.

How does it feel after the new u-joints?

The Intake is a C&L and is pretty rare, I'd love to get my hands on one.

thanks guys!

Intake is a C&L indeed, headlights are stock GT lights with clear corners. I got those for free when I needed them desperatly to get the car road legal here (export headlights shine at the other side of the road). I'll get some nice clear headlights sometime soon.

Right now the car is in need of a rear end rebuild I think. The (stock!) gears have a ridiculous backlash causing clunking, and the diff makes horrible screeching noises when it's warm and I take slow turns. There's also still a driveline vibration above 3000rpm, so I'm saving up for a new FRPP diff, 3.73's, and a aluminium driveshaft.

The X-pipe opened the sound up a little bit, but it's still very quiet if you ask me. I'll be on the look out for a catback after I've done the rear end.

Bassani (seems not to works with big wheels?!)
Magnaflow (love the sound, hate the 3.5" tips)
MAC (who knows?)

Other then that, I'm still trying to get the car the way I like it. Probably some subframe connecters soon. Painting the new fenders and mirrors.

And when everything is done; KB!

Right, it's been a while and I haven't done much to the car mostly because I was gonna get rid of it. Now that I chose to keep it though, the flood gates are open.

Things that are on their way as we speak:

eibach pro-kit rear IRS springs (recieved today)
new smoked headlights
maximum motorsports solid steering rack bushings
maximum motorsports full length subframe connectors
new american thunder IRS catback
rear brake pads
Fordracing aluminium driveshaft
hybrid 1330/1350 ujoint
rear cobra brakelines
gasfillerneck gasket (thanks Javi!)
maximum motorsports lowprofile IRS bolts
new OEM rear IRS spring isolators
SVT and pony emblem

And ofcourse as most of those parts suggest:

A complete '03 IRS

will keep you guys updated as parts roll in.
