+2 i just couldn't justify $200+ on a steering wheel. MAYBE if i raced but i don't so i can't.

I was lucky. My wife bought mine for a X-mas present in '08 just before the price went to $250 or so. Shipped for $165 from AM. :headbang:
The OEM was starting to look rough.

If I had plans to race my car constantly before I got my FR500, I def wouldn't have bought it. It is expensive, but its worth it when you spend a lot of time in your car and want something better than stock.

I really like that cobra wheel...I agree though, id rather put $200 into something else.

I had my steering wheel wrapped with a pretty thick layer of leather and stitched up about 5 years ago. It would be picture-worthy if I wasn't a jerk and took care of it, but it's very dirty and I think it's time to get a new wrap or one of these steering wheels, but I like my tan one! =/

I just never saw the optoin of throwing money into "upgrading" my steering wheel. For the price of even a cheap one, I would rather put it into my motor or something else useless as they never look that much better and for the price of them, its just too much.
