things to do!

hey guys, well im getting kinda bored of my car... well not really boredd but i just wanted some opinions/ideas.

im thinking of getting paul to do some paintwork for me (if he would ever answer his fone - PAUL CALL ME IF YOU READ THIS)

- painting mirrors gloss black
- painting door bezels gloss black (the thing around the window switches)
- tinting the rear lights (lightly but dark enough to tell they are tinted)
- tinting 3rd brake light
- tinting side markers
- painting the radio bezel and shifter bezel gloss black (possibly haven't decided yet)

idk what else i could paint.. what you guys think? how would silver look on the interior pieces? i already painted the side defroster vents silver a while back and they look pretty dang awesome.

any ideas?

sounds good to me man, I wanna paint my door handles & cup things gloss black as well...even tho my cars red, not a fan of colored interior? Mabye a dark metallic grey might look better? Smokin a black car is the way to go.

thats why he hasn't been answer my phone calls. i told him whenever he could to jump on the forums and check this out. so i guess well see how much this will all cost soon.

I think gloss black would be a waste IMO, ive seen the center bezzle painted silver and it looks HOT, a metallic charcoal would be tight tho, gloss black just doesnt seem to different for me, and nothing against paul, i talk him up whenever possible but why not just spray paint the stuff? or use interior spray? Id have paul do the tails and see if he could get some airbrushing done or something i dunno

yeah the interior might be easy enough for me to do.. but exterior wise, i take it up with paul. thanks Irall

Do your mirrors for sure, I am as soon as I get the car repainted. If you do paint the radio bezel and door bezels post some pics cause I was gonna do the same thing to mine. And def. get the reflectors, taillights, and 3rd. brake light tinted, that would look stealthy.

have any pics of a charcoal thats what im thinking a dark metallic color, even tho my cars red. not really a fan of red interior pieces or maybe im crazy?

i still think im going to do Black interior pieces though or at least those door panels gloss back. thorco's old six had it done with the black interior and just looked like sex.. ill find the pic.

lol yea his sixxer is what made me want to do mine black too.

thats way too light of a silver, i mean like DSG or darker. what do u think on a red car?

i think in your case i would do a DSG or black..

red IMO would look really gaudy. If you did a few accents red (i.e. your side window defrosters up on your dash red) it might look good.

but yeah, DSG or some dark grey and black would look awesome man!

im photoshopping now man so give me a minute and check back.. im going to do like a DSG.

oops, I forgot to ever post up more pics for ya like I said I would matt.

I'll just post them up in here so you guys can all check them out rather than dig up the other thread...

I really liked the black, it looked pretty subtle but at the same time gave it a very unique/stockish look.

still can't seem to find my other pics... I've really got to organize all this crap
