I have a decent amount of bolt ons on my 98, and now i wanna try something different: Nitrous!

What are some good kits out there? Will it severely damage my motor if i really abuse it? I only plan to use it once in a great while. I was looking on american muscle and saw the NX EFI plate kit for the 96-04 2 valves. Is that a good kit?

Also, any advice and help would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

As long as you stay within limits of 75-100 shot you would be ok...getting a window(rpm) switch will help with keeping your car together.

i've heard nothing but good about the DynoTune nitros kit. Its really cheap and i hear its one of the best standard kit that you can get.

So a 125 shot wouldn't be good for my car huh? If i got it thats what i would throw on there but i think i would have a separate tune just for nitros though.

i wouldn't run nitrous without getting a tune, i have heard of people doing it, but i would never do it...

and a window switch isn't needed as much for an auto as it is for a manual...i would spend the money on a bottle warmer first. O0

i'd get a window on mine for sure. That way you wouldn't activate it one launch and break your tires loose. Wait untill its going and then kick in about 3k or 3.5k >:D
