ticking noises

Hey guys,


All randomly one day my car started ticking. very quiet at idle, but then will get louder and faster as rpms go higher then go back down after shifting. it almost sounds like it's coming from underneath of the car....


I'll try and get a video soon, just seeing if anyone had ideas. Thanks!

my thought is an exhaust leak too, I just haven't had time to check it out so just get some ideas of maybe what it could be.

my buddy used stethoscope on the valve covers and he said it sounds ok so I don't think its there.

i'm willing to bet it's an exhaust leak. mine does that too. i just havent gotten around to fix it because it doesnt bother me enough.

perhaps an injector in its last leg.
perhaps a spark-plug getting pushed out.
perhaps an exhaust leak.

Personally my injectors are hella loud, always have been. Other than that, I think the rest of these guys are onto something with the leak.
