Time to change the tires!

Hey guys!

I have a question for you...

My rims are 18x8.5 And I was wondering what size I should go for my rear wheels. I currently have 245/40/18 but I find them way too small.

What is the biggest size I can go with 8.5.

a 275 would fit nice thats what i run on my 94, i run 315 on the 2000 but i'm pretty positive that a 8.5 rim wont hold a 315.

from what I'm finding it looks like 255/40-18 is about as big as you should run, but if you really wanted to you could probably get away with a 275/35-18.

my rims are 18x8.5 i ran a nitto 285 snuggly, would NOT go bigger tho
