Timing Troubles

Its a 94 gt. How is the correct way to set the timing. Also what marks to I go off of to set the timing.

On the bracket is it the leading edge with the point that is closest to the center of the car

or is it the U shaped notch that is in the middle of the bracket. Thanks

You have to remove your spout connector as well before you set it, put it back in when your done settign your timing. Its on the passneger front corner of the engine bay, a little grey plug in a black harness.

I was just going to ask about that. Is it under the the MAF in that area? :help2:

Yes... little grey square connector near the MAF. You may want to find a way to mark the numbers on the balancer so you'll be better able to see them. A little white out did the trick for me.
