Haha, yeah all my experiences with pypes were not good ones lol.not one time has the SH*T fit correct.yeah those side markers take a little muscle sometimes to pop outta there.you did take off the star nuts holding them to the backside of the bumper right? Lol
Haha yup pypes fitment is far from the greatest lol... But yeah I took nuts of the back where they are held into the bumper, they were still really stubborn they just didn't want to come out lol

Re: Tinted Tails

My ProChamber (MAC FTW) sags in the center because I had to spin my trans crossmember 180* and such to get my Tremec to fit without a gangsta lean (& and to prevent horrible vibrations) Add a 2" drop, a QA1 k-member, 18's with 245/35 rubber and scrappity-scrape yo!!

Re: Tinted Tails

I almost like the way they look without being buffed. Kind of a cool contrast.

That being said, they'll look sexy buffed.

Re: Tinted Tails

Well I wet-sanded and buffed them today, along with the side markers (which I think could use another coat maybe) but all in all I'm very happy with the end result... Here are some pics...

very nice. What process did you use to wetsand and buff?
I want to know,
1. Did you clear before sanding?
2. What grits did you use?
3. What product(s) did you use to buff? And by hand or machine?

Yeah I cleared before sanding, I used 2 coats of clear...
For the actual sanding I went out and picked up a 3m headlight resto kit, I kinda changed their process though
1. I used the 800 grit pad from the kit ( wet-sanded)
2. I wet-sanded by hand with 1500 and then 2000
3. Then used the grey pad as instructed from the kit
4. And finally hit them with the provided orange pad and rubbing compound

Damn, that looks good...Well done...

I wonder how much crap I'd catch here if I did that, but left them unsanded on my black Cobra...

Lots of people tint their lights. If you like it, go for it!
