tinting your headlights

has anybody here tinted their own headlights? how did you do it? did it workout for you?? if there is alreay a post on how to show me please. i really dont want to buy new headlights cause there is nothing wrong with mine, they look brandnew

i saw somebody use vht on theirs. but i hear people frown on that. idk. im debating on using a coat or two of it on mine, rather than buying new ones.

it's kinda frowned upon because the vht would chip easily them look like crap in a short amount of time. also you would lose a lot of light through the vht.
It would be wise to just save your money for a set of tinted HL's or a set of black beauties

Tinting your headlights will really hurt your lights performance from what I've seen. Even guys who buy Smoked headlights have some problems with light output (hence why a lot of them run HIDs) and I'm betting smoked will be somewhat clearer than VHT'd stockers. Save your money and do it right the first time. Get some Smoked or some Black Beauties (BB's are gorgeous, just get those).

In my experience I used VHT nightshade and it made mine look horrible. And if you don't like it when you do it that stuff is a B!tch getting off.
