Tips?

I was thinking of getting some short, double walled ss tips, then wrapping the tail pipe all the way back up to the tip in black heat wrap tape.
Tips like these.

I like them...they look like SLP tips. They should look good with your bumper since it hides most of the tip...if it was a regular GT bumper they would look terrible because they are so short, but I think you should be able to pull them off.

those are super short tips. i would think the kind that go all the way back to that first harsh bend by the gas tank would look better personally.

since you have a saleen kit on your car, the tips with the metal wire mesh around them would look good too. (like the stock saleen ones) i don't know if any other companies produce them though or how much they would be.

Yeah, but I want them short because the rest of the tailpipe is going to be wrapped. I think it will look sinister.

ooooh, so your putting tips on and wrapping from the tips back to the mufflers, i misunderstood. i thought you were going to wrap the tips.

that is a cool and functional idea, i'm looking forward to seeing it.
