I know tires and I have seen a lot of weird shit working for Goodyear for a bit. But I have never seen this.

What makes it more odd, is this cut, is in my drivers side front tire, and is a slightly deeper cut in my passenger rear tire.. So far I have not seen it on the other 2 tires, but they will all be coming off this weekend for inspection..

All I can do is look and go W.T.F!!!!!

lol, that shit aint funny no more is it :sad5:

i had good years with that same tread pattern. seriously exactly the same, lol. mine looked like the inner sidewall had a slit all the way around. like deep as hell. always made me nervous. then i ended up having HUGE ass knots that made my car shake like a sum *****. i dont like goodyear tires.

Balljoints are fine. LOL! But if i need them changed in record time im calling you.
The tires you had were goodyear Eagle GTs. Which are a decent tire for what it is and you must have gotten a bad batch..Which sucks. I dont like all goodyear tires but some of their passenger car tires are some of the best you can buy.. Sucks you had that experience with them though.

Btw. That is NOT the seam of the tire in that picture.

And I will not roast those tires.. too broke for that nonsense

All I used to run were Goodyear Eagle GTs on my old SN95 sixer and my old Crown Vic. I never had any issues with them. They supply a good "bang for the buck" for those who on a lower tire budget and don't want to buy "performance" tires. I still run Goodyear Viva 2 tires on my Ranger and the wife's Escort. Goodyear makes a quality tire, I don't know what happened with yours.

Woops... I guess I didn't pay that close enough attention to the picture. I just saw the word "goodyear" throughout the thread over and over and assumed that's what they were. My bad.

I had that happen on a pair of rear tires dont remember the brand.... Eventually the tread peeled right off of them after i changed them out thank god :headbang: I have no idea if you and i are in the same boat or not i just remember mine having a cut that i though was a seam till it got bigger I checked my tires one day after changing oil and drove down to tires plus and bought two new tires...:angry7:

Almost looks like someone took a knife to it. Odd cut straight across like that.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think thats a "bad tire." If I saw that on my car I would immediately assume somebody took a box cutter to it

this is true.. and its on 2 opposite side and position tires.. But the boxcutter is the first thing I thought of too.. And if so, someone is a ****ing itiot and did it wrong lol..

I mean I can think of 1 person... But they didnt even cross my mind like that because well.. they know me and that car and nothing bad really happened.. But girls are crazy.. Ill ignore it for now.. But well see.

^ She knows if I catch wind of her near my car in any way all hell will break loose and I dont think she can risk that right now. Plus she had no clue i moved my car to my new place. She knew I had my SUV.

There have been some deuchy new neighbors that moved in.. But thas about it.. No one else really

I've seen damage from one-way gate crossings on cars I've owned.

I lived on a military base for a few years and they were having trouble with the "fangs" retracting.

This resulted in many torn holes, but if you cross some sort of gate, it might be from that.
