i got a tire question for u guys. im running 10.5 fr500's in the back with nitto drag radials and im close to replacing the tires and i wanted to try out some 335's if they have any. does anyone have any info about these wider tires or bfg's in 315's because i don't see them available in 17 inch. thanks guys.

The only 17 inch 335 i know of is a Michelin Pilot Sport... but its obviously not a DR.

A friend of mine ran them on a 17x11 ZR1 wheel on his F-body...

if you want a wider DR go with BFG or MT... but they wont last half as long

Even if you can find 335 in a 17 " rim, they will probably get shredded by your fender unless you role it. Ask JonBeast.

i think 315's will be just fine,if you run 335's you may need to,

1.-flip your quadshocks if you have them
2.-role your fenders
3.-you may have to bent your e-brake line

thanks guys. it just seems like the nittos are not wide enough-at least for me lol. i have heard that the nitto drags actually measured up to be 295's, has anyone else heard about this? i just wanna look at the back of the car and say dayum thats some meaty tires lol. i cant complain about the nittos ive gotten a lil over 11000 miles with playing at the track and still have a lil bit of life in them.

yes nitto's run small... that why you can get a 315 nitto on a stock 17x9 03 Cobra wheel

the bulge but they fit

BFG's and MT's run a good but fatter
