tire suggestions

i got a nail in my back tire and i need a new one, i plan on getting 2 new wider tires 275/40/17's cause right now i got 255/45/17, right now im thinking getting Nitto 555's, any other suggestions?

That's what I was saying. They have good performance but you will probably have to replace them before a year. Versus more of a street tire where you could get like 25k miles

my next set of wheels will probably some BFG KDWs...they perform well and the tread pattern looks sick.

i say get some bfg kdw's. i got them last year and am very pleased with them. I almost :'( when i light them up (emphasize the almost ;D) originally i ordered 555s but they didnt have them and so they knocked the price down the the kdw's so i got them instead. bfgs will hook better but nittos will last longer.

nitto 555s (not 555r's) are one of the longest lasting "high performance street tire" shit i think they last well over 25k and bfg's last a little less (they are both still street tires). either will last more than a year unless you do a big burnout at every stop light or drive across the country often... i dont remember exactly what people were getting out of them but it is definately better than 15k

BFG KDWII's have a tread wear rating of 300, thats better tread life than my old Kuhmo Supra 712's
