That's very strange... what's the offset of your wheels?

I've run 275's on the front of my car with minimal rub at full lock

the rims are 17x9's... they are called sportmax 006and the tires are fierce instinct... the tire has a small lip around it that sticks out about 1 centimeter from the rim. ill check to see if something else is wrong

That lip is a scuff guard to sort-of protect the rim. Since 245-45-17 tires were a GT option and 255-45-17 a Cobra option, I would guess that the wheels you have do NOT have the correct offset for a Mustang. I'm running 255-45-17 tires on 17x9 Mach 1 wheels without issue.

I have 275's on the front on 18" wheels... and I still dont rub... I agree that your wheels arent properly spaced for the Mustang, they should in no way rub.

Sounds like you need a spacer. I was running 255 40 17 on my fox and that barely rubbed. The sn95 should have at least that to a 275 without rubbing.

Judging from a the avatar he has, a spacer would have to be very small to keep his front wheels from sticking out too far.

I think you might have to pull the plug on these wheels and get something with a correct offset

if the wheels are sticking out that far then Idk why there would be a rubbing issue. Is something hanging or sticking out that shouldn't be? What's it rubbing on?
